It won’t take much to wrap your head around these flat-out delicious recipes! The best part? They shouldn’t take longer than 20 Minutes to make!
Chocolate breakfast roll-up
This one’s for the chocolate lovers out there! Spread some hazelnut chocolate spread evenly onto a tortilla wrap. Place a peeled banana on one edge of the tortilla and wrap the tortilla around the banana. Cut into 1-inch thick segments to make several mouth-watering rolls.
Mini Pizzas
These flavour-packed bites are not only as cute as a button, but really easy to make. Hi Trading Malta suggests using a tin to cut circular shapes from tortillas to use as the pizza base and press each wrap circle into a muffin tin using your fingers.
Next, simply add the usual ingredients you would on a traditional pizza; tomato sauce, mozzarella, spices and personalise each one with toppings of your choice. Bake in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
Chicken Tenders Picadillo
In a non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ½ kg chicken tenders and cook 4-6 minutes until golden brown, turning them over once. Then, transfer them to a bowl. Reduce heat to medium; add 1 medium chopped onion to the skillet and cook for 6 - 8 minutes. Next, add 1 chopped clove of garlic and stir in with ½ tsp cumin and leave to cook for 1 minute.
Stir in 1 cup of salsa, ¼ cup of raisins, ½ cup olives and the chicken tenders; heating to a boil over medium-high heat. Meanwhile, microwave the Durum tortillas on high for 1 minute. Serve the chicken picadillo with warm tortillas. Mouth-watering stuff!
